My name is Lauren and I'm opening digital art commissions! I've been drawing all my life but I never tried to turn it into any kind of work, so this is my first go at true commissioned work. Nevertheless I hope you give me a chance to make your piece, or at least let others know about me if they ever want a piece of artwork!

The art you will get from me is different than other artists' work in a few ways. The obvious difference is that it's made in a cartoony / anime style, with larger eyes and somewhat exaggerated proportions compared to real life or still life art. The lines are more pronounced as well, but the style meshes together in a way that doesn't make it detract from the piece as a whole. I work fully in digital art and prefer it over traditional media like paper and pencils or other utensils.

The other key difference is that, unlike other artists, I will not be printing and shipping pieces. This saves shipping costs that would normally be charged during payment, and saves material for other artists who do prefer to print and ship. Instead, I create and provide you with the digital file of your piece so that you can implement it however you wish to do so. It's a win-win for both of us!

Based on the curiosity and feedback I've received about them, I created a YouTube channel dedicated to time lapse videos showing my art process. Occasionally there will be montage videos of still images, in order to showcase a piece that didn't have a time lapse recorded. If I think of other similar types of videos I can make I will add them as well.
